Jason & Kristen’s Greenville Wedding
Fall is the perfect time of year for a Huguenot Loft Wedding! On October 27, the energy of downtown Greenville met its match in one of the most joyful couples we’ve ever had the opportunity to film. Jason and Kristen have this infections energy about them that just transfers into anyone they meet. There was a hum of excitement throughout the entire day that made our job such a joy! My favorite part of the day was the “not first look” that happened on the village green in downtown Greenville. Jason really wanted to wait to see his bride for the first time at the ceremony, so we brought them outside and stood them back to back so they could talk and exchange letters. This was such a sweet moment that really helped drive the excitement for the ceremony through the roof!
The day started at The Beautiful Co. Salon right next to the Greenville Drive’s stadium. It was such an inspiring place to film with its bright and minimalist interior design aesthetic. The large windows bathed the front rooms in gorgeous natural light that made for beautiful bride prep photos and film. Kristen and her bridesmaids spent the morning laughing and relaxing with an energy that carried all the way downtown for portraits along Greenville’s famed Main Street. The ceremony and reception space at the Huguenot Loft was perfectly designed by the ladies at Upstate I Do and was the perfect backdrop upon which the beauty of the wedding unfolded. One of the best parts of our job is getting to eat wedding food. One of my favorite foods, shrimp and grits, graced the menu with its presence and made for one of my favorite wedding meals of the year.
Jason and Kristen, we are so excited for you guys and the impact your marriage will have on your lives and the lives of others. The joy you bring to everything you do is beautiful to see and will be such an amazing asset in your marriage! Thanks for trusting us to tell your story!
