Matt & Kristen’s Kiawah Island Wedding
From the first time we spoke with Matt & Kristen on the phone about their wedding we knew it was going to be magical!
The couple met when Kristen’s cousin introduced them at a football game, and the rest was history. Matt is originally from England and they have done a lot of traveling together. They have lived in San Francisco, Greenville, Atlanta, Charleston and now England. They have visited Hawaii, Germany, Italy and a few other places too!
Traveling is a big part of their story, so they made sure to include these elements into their wedding day. It’s details like these that truly set each wedding we film apart from one another. From the vintage suitcases and globes used as decor to the custom luggage tags used for their seating chart, every detail was purposeful and planned.
Matt & Kristen chose to get married on Kristen’s parent’s private estate. Their home on Kiawah Island sat right on the edge of the marsh and was surrounded by palm trees to create the intimate setting they were hoping for. Matt had several friends and family travel overseas to be apart of the celebration!
