Hi All!
Nestled high above the valley floor, up winding roads, through the South Carolina forest is a wedding venue called Pretty Place. If you’ve ever had the desire to get up while it’s still dark outside to watch the sunrise, this is the place to do it! Mer and I drove up the mountain one day a few months ago and were blown away with how beautiful and peaceful it was. The clouds were hundreds of feet below us, filling the valley with fog; which is a sight you usually only get to see from an airplane or maybe in the Rocky Mountains.
As you walk down the steps you are treated with an unbelievable view of the terrain. The benches are staggered leading down to the alter, so each and every guest can view the full expanse of the valley. At the back of the chapel is a quaint, little room for the bride to hideaway in as guests arrive. The chapel seats up to 400 guests though it will probably will be a bit crowded at that number. This venue is unlike any other because of how initimate yet majestic it feels.
