This year’s wedding season is off to a strong start! We had so much fun filming Julia and Hampton’s wedding at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, NC. The sun was out, the flowers were blooming and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Julia and Hampton are truly kind and full of life and love for one another. It was a joy to be able to capture their day.

The first thing I always encourage our brides to do is to choose a space with lot’s of natural light…especially for bridal prep. Natural light makes an image pop like nothing else can. This wedding was the perfect example of that ideal location.

If you’re looking for inspiration as you plan for your big day, check out these still shots from Julia and Hampton’s film. Even if you haven’t decided to hire a videographer, look for spaces with natural light. Trust me, your photographer will thank you 🙂

All the best!
Matt
